RateMySite.io ("we", "us") provides a free public website audit tool powered by the Google PageSpeed Insights API. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• URLs you submit. When you request an audit, the URL you enter is stored alongside the resulting report. Audit reports are public by default and indexable by search engines.
• PageSpeed Insights results. Lighthouse metrics returned by Google for the URL you submitted are stored and displayed on the public report page.
• Basic analytics. Aggregated, anonymous usage data (page views, country-level traffic) to help us improve the site. We do not sell or share this data.

What we do not collect

• We do not require accounts or sign-ups.
• We do not collect names, emails, or addresses unless you voluntarily contact us.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Public reports

Reports generated on RateMySite.io are public web pages. Anyone with the URL can view them, and search engines may index them. If you would like a specific report removed, email us at privacy@ratemysite.io.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function (such as your theme preference). We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

Third-party services

• Google PageSpeed Insights API — used to run Lighthouse audits. Google's privacy policy applies to its data handling.
• Google & DuckDuckGo favicon services — used only to display public website logos.

Children

RateMySite.io is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date.
